Vacancy Intern Documentary & Impact production 2026

Worldvisuals Film is an international award-winning production company based in the Netherlands and South Africa. Our films have been selected for hundreds of international film festivals and have won numerous awards worldwide.

As of 1 February 2026 we are looking for an intern for a period of 4 - 6 months (4 days per week). You will assist in the development and execution of various international documentary projects for Worldvisuals Film in the Netherlands and South Africa. Current projects are The Possibility of Man, Brusjes and The Clarens Festival of Lights.

Tasks

You are expected to fully participate in the development and production process to experience and learn about the film process, from research to distribution. It's a challenging job with responsibilities

This includes:

• Assisting in research of new projects.
• Production assistance during film shoots.
• Film festival coordination.
• Establish and maintain contacts with other film professionals, film festivals, and media organizations.
• Assist in the coordination of impact programs.

Skills & experience

• Preferably living in Amsterdam and its near surroundings.
• You possess fluent proficiency in both English and Spanish, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing skills
• HBO/WO: communication, film, media or business.
• Entrepreneurial skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn.
• Able to work independently.
• Driving license B.

Internship fee

€ 250,- per month (for 4 days per week)
