Job description

On-site, Hybrid

Tiel, Netherlands

What does your day look like?

Your day begins with a fresh coffee, and a challenge. A customer in the United States has a system down and urgently needs spare parts. You dive into the technical documentation, coordinate with colleagues, suppliers, and the customer, and make sure the right components are delivered quickly and without error.

Next, you focus on your own lead: a maintenance contract. Together with the customer, you determine the best setup for their production needs. You calculate prices, translate technical requirements into a clear quotation with fitting Terms & Conditions, and ensure the customer knows exactly what to expect.

In the afternoon, you handle a spare-parts order for Japan. You align with the warehouse, manage purchasing for non-stock items, and oversee the entire process, from order to delivery and invoicing.

Before wrapping up, you review revenue and forecast figures for the Customer Support Department (CSD) and plan the work for open orders. You brief the support engineers, make sure access and logistics are arranged, and confirm that all parts are ready for shipment.

In short: you are the link between technology, commerce, and customer satisfaction, ensuring everything runs seamlessly from request to delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing calculations and quotations for parts and support requests.
  • Coordinating spare-parts deliveries and support activities.
  • Managing and optimizing global support contracts.
  • Maintaining customer relationships and spotting commercial opportunities.
  • Analysing customer needs and advising on suitable technical solutions.
  • Bridging execution, engineering, purchasing, logistics, and commercial follow-up.
  • Improving internal processes within CSD.
  • Monitoring revenue, margins, and budgets for After Sales.
  • Working with and improving ERP/CRM (Ridder IQ, CAS).
  • Collaborating with our branch offices in Japan, Singapore, and the USA.
  • Ensuring timely invoicing of parts and services as agreed.

What are you bringing?

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong commercial skills and a passion for customer satisfaction.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset; accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to switch between technical execution and commercial alignment.
  • Experience with ERP (Ridder IQ) and CRM (CAS) is a plus.
  • Solid command of English, both spoken and written.
