Volunteers wanted for Double Helix

During Rotterdam Art Week, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam presents an alienating world inhabited by hybrid creatures. Double Helix is a museum exhibition combined with a theatrical experience. We are looking for volunteers for this special project.

As a volunteer, you will act as a group leader . As a group leader, you will welcome visitors and guide them through the various rooms. You will ensure a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome.

Each group is accompanied by two group leaders: one walks in front, showing the way and setting the tone, while the other walks behind to keep the group together and keep an eye on everyone.

On Double Helix

Double Helix , by and designer Bart Hess, explores the physical impact of technological progress on the human body. Together, they create a visual world in which the body is not only a vehicle for expression, but also a place of transformation, confrontation, and resistance.

The project blends visual art, video, and performance with interactive elements to create an astonishing experience. Visitors move through four rooms in Het Katoenhuis during a guided tour lasting approximately one hour.

You are enthusiastic about working with us to make Double Helix a success. You are also available and present at rehearsals and on the chosen performance days.
