Purpose of the role

The senior Scientist will be responsible for the overall non-clinical safety development programs of uniQure's products. These programs are crucial for evaluating the benefit-risk ratio of the products, also with respect to environmental safety. The candidate will provide non-clinical safety expertise to the global multidisciplinary project teams. The senior Scientist will report to the Head Non-Clinical Development.

Profile

The ideal candidate holds a MSc or PhD (toxicology, biology, veterinary) and/or comparable level of training by experience. He/she possesses a minimum of 3 years' experience with the conduct of non-clinical animal studies in an industrial setting, preferably pharmaceutical industry. Experience with writing regulatory documentation and Good Laboratory Practice management systems is advantageous.
