BIM COORDINATOR, PROJECT ARCHITECT

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic BIM Coordinator who combines advanced technical expertise with a proactive and collaborative attitude.

You will start and lead our BIM team , taking ownership of digital coordination across our projects and helping shape the future of BIM within our office.

This is not an entry-level role, it requires an experienced professional who can work independently, manage complex coordination tasks, and guide others in best BIM practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related coordination issues within project teams.

• Supervise and support technical designers and BIM modelers throughout the design and execution phases.

• Review and validate modeling outputs from internal teams and external consultants, ensuring adherence to BIM protocols and integrating feedback into project execution plans.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with Dutch BIM standards and internal workflows across all deliverables.

• Coordinate clash detection, model integration, and issue resolution , ensuring accurate and timely communication between disciplines.

• Advise project management on BIM strategies, model workflows, and digital coordination schedules.

Your Profile

• Advanced proficiency in BIM coordination and detailing, supported by formal training in BIM software, modeling standards, and coordination practices (Archicad & Revit).

• Experience with projects in the Netherlands and a deep understanding of Dutch BIM standards and local building regulations .

• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) is essential immediately.

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM projects.

• Able to work independently , manage complex tasks, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent aesthetic, organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
