Zone2Source is looking for an intern! - April 2026

From late March/early April 2026, we are looking for a student or recent graduate (living in or around Amsterdam) to join our team for six months. Zone2Source is an international platform for art and ecology. We are located in the heart of the beautiful Amstelpark in Amsterdam. Together with artists, we present projects in and outside the park that explore a new relationship between people, technology and nature.

We support all our exhibitions in Het Glazen Huis and in the park with an extensive range of communication activities. We would like many more people to get to know Zone2Source and our projects, collaborations with artists and public programmes. We are a small team, so you will be working closely with us. You will learn about many aspects of communication and meet new people from all over the world. We are looking for:

All-round communications and production intern (M/F/X), with (preferably native) Dutch and English language skills.

Zone2Source values diversity within its organisation. People from different backgrounds in terms of education, origin, age or culture are expressly invited to apply.

If you are interested in this position, please send your CV and cover letter to with the subject line "Internship application".

Tasks

During your internship, you will work on both the communication and production sides of exhibitions and events. You will assist with communication tasks such as video editing, creating content for social media and updating the website. You will also learn how exhibitions are constructed and help with the maintenance of the exhibition space. We work in a small team where you will collaborate and contribute ideas on an equal footing.

Your tasks will include: - Updating online platforms: updating the website (WordPress), writing and sending newsletters (Mailchimp), minor archiving tasks on the website; - Managing social media: updating Instagram, generating content, writing captions, selecting photos, performing minor analyses; - You contribute ideas about signage and creative ways to reach audiences inside and outside the park. - Promotional campaigns: help plan and execute promotional campaigns for exhibitions and events, assist with graphic design, printing and distribution of PR materials, organisation, budget management; - Writing, editing and translating: assisting with editing curatorial texts, writing promotional texts for online and offline communications, translating EN-NL or NL-EN (if you are fluent in both languages); - On-site production support during exhibitions and public programmes: pre-production and set-up, reception, documentation support, artist support, audience support. - Light secretarial duties: minute-taking.

A curious and eager-to-learn attitude is important to us. In consultation with you, the internship will focus more on the areas in which you want to develop or deepen your knowledge. As an intern, we will involve you in all processes and divide tasks and responsibilities in mutual consultation. Your working hours will largely be determined in mutual consultation based on your availability and our programme and will be on Mondays and/or Thursdays. Sometimes you may be required to be present at weekends.
