To implement our strategic planning and development, GOPA MetaMeta is offering an internship position to reinforce the strategic communication and knowledge management team. We seek a skilled and highly motivated intern to work on several important workstreams:

• Communication : Re-structuring, refreshing the looks and feel of our specialized communication platform, TheWaterChannel.tv
• Branding : Strengthening the GOPA MetaMeta brand through communication products, both printed media (brochures, factsheets) and online (LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, etc.).
• Technical knowledge management: Organizing and improving presentation and dissemination of our specialized knowledge products (videos, blogs, books, guidelines, brochures, podcasts etc.). Develop a new database of our knowledge products.

This internship offers a unique opportunity for a student who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and sectors, and who values direct collaboration with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The internship position is open to applicants from all regions and countries. We provide monthly financial support (stipend), and compensate expenses for travelling within the Netherlands.

Background (indicative, we do encourage motivated students with different backgrounds to apply)

• Communications, media studies, marketing, digital marketing, branding, graphic design
• Digital catalogue, databases, archiving
• Strategic knowledge management
• Technical studies on Earth/Environmental/Life sciences or related fields

Skills ideally needed

• Ability to (quickly) understand environmental and technical content and turn it into powerful knowledge products.
• Ability to think and work systematically
• Familiarity with website development, website content management systems, graphic design and visual content creation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Understanding of audience engagement and content optimization

Working modality : From Wageningen office, or remotely
