Are you looking for an internship that challenges you both analytically and organizationally? In this internship, you will help implement a customized specification management program and update the data for all raw materials and packaging materials.

Prinsen Berning is a leading food manufacturer in the "Active Nutrition" market. We develop and produce diet foods, sports and wellness products, and instant drinks for renowned customers worldwide. From our location in Helmond, we serve a rapidly growing market and contribute to a healthier lifestyle.

With a dynamic team of approximately 150 colleagues and short communication lines, we offer an innovative work environment where entrepreneurship and collaboration are key.

What you will do

• You will be part of the QESH team and collaborate with various departments, such as Purchasing and R&D.
• You will contact suppliers and collaborate on up-to-date and accurate information.
• Learn about a wide variety of raw materials and gain insight into the relevant information flows regarding (food) safety, quality, and traceability.
• Implement the collected information in a structured manner in a new system, directly contributing to a major improvement project within our company.

What we offer

• An educational internship where you gain practical experience with data and specification management.
• Insight into processes related to the quality, safety, and traceability of raw materials.
• Opportunity to establish professional contacts with suppliers and colleagues from various disciplines.
• Internship allowance: €400 per month based on a 40-hour workweek.
• Travel allowance: from 10 km one way.
• You will join a friendly team that will provide you with the right guidance, so you can optimally develop during your internship.

Who we are looking for

• An enthusiastic and proactive student looking for an internship starting in February.
• Interest in food safety, quality, and traceability.
• Ability to work accurately and systematically with data and systems.
