About the job

To expand the team, they are looking for a (junior) cable and pipeline contractor. You will be working in main and distribution pipelines. You therefore have an affinity with the whole package of infra, house connections, kco's and remediation. It would be nice if the aspect of electricity in addition to gas & water, i.e. the laying and assembly of cables in the broadest sense of the word, i.e. connections low and high-rise buildings, as well as main LS and MS cables, sounds interesting or familiar to you!

Some of your duties include:

The position includes:

- Determining execution techniques, material choices and quantities, i.e. coordinating all practical aspects of the work;

- Participating in construction meetings;

- Carrying out the work in the most efficient manner within the set budget and schedule;

- Dealing with claims reports and VAK forms in a timely manner;

- Keeping records;

- Create staff schedules of permanent and flexible mechanics;

- Taking decisions related to-or arising from-KAM activities are also part of the job. In short, you organise work on the basis of safety, quality and production. Safety-conscious working and acting comes naturally!

Your profile

- Minimum MBO+ working and thinking level;

- You have a GWW(Grond-,Weg- en Waterbouw) background with experience in cables & pipes or a starter with the willingness to make this your own in a short time;

- You are practical, independent and think with common sense;

- You live in the Weert area or are willing to drive there;

- Being aware of and responsible for all safety aspects;

- Be able to read, interpret, check and plot drawings;

- Good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;

- You have a driving licence B;

- You are available full-time.
