Who are we looking for?

You are a PLC / Software Engineer who:

• A degree in mechatronics, industrial automation or similar
• Preferably experience in mechanical engineering or industrial automation
• Proficient in PLC programming (Ladder and ST) in an OMRON and DANFOSS+1 environment
• Affinity with motion control and moving machines
• Willing to take responsibility and contribute ideas

Experience is important, but we consider curiosity, technical insight and ambition to be just as valuable. We also welcome applications from young engineers with potential.

What are you going to do?

At Koppert Machines, you will be working on smart and innovative machines for horticulture. Examples include:

• Automating processes in horticulture (including glasshouse horticulture)
• Programming packaging machines
• Developing complete logistics systems
• Applying robotics (such as ABB's flexpicker)
• Bringing new machine concepts to market

You will be involved in projects from start to finish - from idea to operational machine. One day you will be doing electrical work preparation and continuing with the PLC programme and the HMI, the next day you will be testing a machine, performing a FAT or, together with colleagues, delivering a machine with working software to the customer. You will work closely with the electrical, service and drawing office departments.

Every machine is custom-made. This makes the work technically challenging, varied and visible.
