An exciting opportunity for a Senior Freight Forwarder to join our growing team. This a key role within the Operations Team and its purpose is to maintain excellent customer service on Transports throughout Europe. You work on a daily basis with a dedicated group of colleagues with 1 goal: achieving the best planning and the highest degree of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities include:

• Handle customer queries via telephone & email
• Process customer bookings & input data into TMS and Freight Forwarding Platforms.
• Monitor and maintain the transports.
• Obtain pricing and provide quotes / service information
• Follow up of organized transports from loading till delivery including uploading of documents.
• Undertake research and network, where necessary to remain competitive
• Work proactively to anticipate, manage and meet customer requirements
• Persuading customers of the high levels of service the company provides in terms of quality, service and price

About you:

• A minimum of 4 years of working in a Freight Forward role is essential
• Good IT skills - with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service ethic, a strong desire to satisfy customer needs and achieve results
• A strong negotiator and the ability to solve problems and overcome difficulties
• A proactive, positive and self-disciplined approach to work
• Work effectively and calmly under pressure
• High level of English and Spanish, Dutch is a Plus
