At Grand Café De Lichttoren you will work in a kitchen with brand new equipment and a large kitchen team. No day is the same: from coffee and lunch to dinner and events - together we ensure an optimal culinary experience for our guests.

About us

Grand Café De Lichttoren is located in an iconic building in the heart of Eindhoven, a former Philips light bulb factory. With over 300 seats, a meeting room, patisserie, large bar and expansive terrace, we are one of the largest hospitality venues in the city.

What you will do

• Prepare and prepare dishes according to menu and recipes
• Manning work stations during lunch and dinner (cold appetizer, dessert or snacks)
• Ensuring quality and presentation of all dishes
• Keeping your workplace neat and organized
• Preparing ingredients and mise-en-place
• Collaborate with colleagues for smooth and efficient kitchen service

Who you are

• Experience in a professional kitchen is a plus, but motivation is just as important
• Passion for cooking and attention to detail
• Organizationally strong and able to work independently
• Creative, motivated and stress resistant
• Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Good command of Dutch and/or English
