    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Modern Workplace Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a positive can-do mentality, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Design, implement and maintain modern workplace solutions using the Microsoft Windows ecosystem.
    • Administer Microsoft Endpoint Manager, including Intune/Autopilot, to manage devices and enforce security policies.
    • Utilize Windows PowerShell for automation and process optimization.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to the modern workplace.
    • Manage and support various aspects of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
    • Stay current with new releases, features, and best practices in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure a seamless and integrated technology experience for end-users.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, including Windows PowerShell.
    • Familiarity with Office 365, Exchange, Azure, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
    • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Positive can-do mentality and professional, respectful work ethic.
    • Initiative to continuously improve processes and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
    • Proficient in English, with strong skills in written and verbal communication.

To accomplish this, we are seeking a data officer who can shape the use cases, capture the user's needs and create intuitive solutions that deliver results. With internal clients as the main stakeholder, you will work closely with data architects, data engineers, BI developers, data scientists and IT business partners.

    The domains where data change requests and improvements are needed are broad: HR, Finance, Procurement and Logistics, QHSE, Asset Management or general Operations and can depend on past experiences and preferences. Besides the data officer role, you will be supporting the data science team.

    You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and security of our industrial communication and OT infrastructure. As part of a multidisciplinary, hands-on team bridging engineering, IT and operations you help to safeguard critical systems through professional network administration, robust routing & switching, and industrial cyber-security practices.

    As central point of contact you will establish strong relationships with (potential) clients during the whole process. You will lead and manage a tender team through application of our tender and acquisition processes; you will motivate and empower your tender team members from the various DEME Offshore specialists support departments, such as Engineering, Legal, Insurance, Finance, Project Controls. Through facilitating excellent team communication and efficiency, you will support ownership and maximize innovation, targeting a high-quality tender submission and contract. Finally, you and the tender sponsor will take the lead in tender clarifications and negotiations with clients after the submission of the tenders.

    This position is based at our DEME Offshore Office in Breda, The Netherlands.
