Legal Affairs Manager

We are looking for a Legal Affairs Manager to join the Legal Department in our Adhesives Business Unit. Make the difference for our brands: Bison, UHU, Griffon, Bostik & Unipak.

How you make the difference

You provide strategic and operational legal support in an international environment. You act as a trusted advisor to management and business stakeholders, contributing to the development and implementation of robust legal and compliance frameworks. You work closely with the Legal & Compliance team at group level.

How your agenda looks like:

Legal Advisory & Litigation Management

• Manage pre-litigation activities and litigations, monitor legal developments, and proactively advise the business on risks and opportunities.
• Drive improvements in legal operations and represent the company in resolving disputes.
• Collaborate with the Bolton Group Legal & Compliance Department to align on group-wide initiatives.

Intellectual Property

• Work with the Group IP Legal Manager on trademark and patent matters, ensuring proper registration and protection across markets.

Legal Support to the Business

• Draft and review sales agreements, manage contracts, and review marketing materials for legal compliance.
• Support governance matters such as POA, UBO, AML and Board documentation.
• Provide practical legal advice to business teams and handle key customer or consumer issues.

Compliance

• Support the Group Compliance Department in promoting integrity, ensuring adherence to laws and internal policies, and delivering compliance training to employees and management.

Your team:

You will report hierarchically to the Group Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and work closely with the CFO of Bolton Adhesives. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Group Legal & Compliance network to align and execute initiatives.

What makes you a great fit:

Education: University degree in Law

Work Experience: 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in multinational companies. Experience with contract management, compliance, and/or product compliance is a prerequisite.

Local language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; Dutch and German are a plus.

Structured, Analytical, reliable and have an independent and hands-on work approach. You have a commercial mindset and You've got openness to feedback, process optimization, and tech adoption. You are able to handle pressure, conflict and competing priorities.
