What will you do?

You'll join the architecture team in Groningen to design across our broad portfolio, working within De Zwarte Hond's design language. We address a wide range of challenges that respond to today's societal needs: mixed housing programs (including social housing and high-rise), primary and secondary schools, and university buildings. You'll also work on urban design projects, transformation assignments, and 1:5 detailing. Timber buildings and bio-based materials are integral to our work. We are designing the monuments of the future.

You will collaborate with specialists and clients to deliver high-quality architecture that strengthens its context and puts users first.

Who are we looking for?

• A completed degree in Architecture from a Technical University or Academy of Architecture
• Strong conceptual design skills across the Concept, Preliminary, and Developed Design phases (SO/VO/DO)
• Knowledge of building regulations, sustainable design, and materials
• Strong communication skills (assertive and proactive)
• Excellent command of 3D software such as Archicad or Revit
• A proactive mindset and experience working in a team
• Good command of both Dutch and English
