About the job

As energy manager, you instruct and supervise the work on the work site. You instruct and supervise the executing parties, and oversee the quality of the work. You also collect and check documents, production and material consumption. You speak to subcontractors and fitters who do not comply with the job description, quality requirements or regulations, and correct them where necessary. As a contractor, you work closely with the Project Manager and inform him/her of progress. You identify and report deviations from the budget, schedule and/or regulations directly to the Project Manager. You also report other deviations in, for example, the design to the client, the authorities involved and the Project Manager. You proactively come up with alternative solutions.

Some of your duties include:

• Participation in construction consultations
• Start holding work meetings
• Supervise civilian teams, subcontractors and mechanics, as well as directing them;
• Monitor and adjust schedules where necessary;
• KLIC reports review;
• Monitor compliance with regulations (technical, licensing, safety and environmental);
• Perform and/or direct remedial actions related to quality (execution), environment, damage and other issues;
• Start work in consultation with other departments;
• Recording production (performed numbers and units) and material consumption, and you collect revision data from the executing party/parties and transfer these to the work planner
• Responsible for material consumption
• Timely reporting of deviations and more/less work to project manager and client
• Responsible for production numbers
• Monitor procedures, permits, KLIC notifications and signal interruptions.
• Registration and cancellation of work with municipalities, water boards, etc.
• Monitors compliance with work description, documentation, quality requirements and regulations
• Conducts workplace inspections (SCC and Quality)
• Return of unused materials by subcontractors and/or fitters
• Toolbox participation;
• Carrying out workplace inspections;
• Executive regarding VGKIM policy.

Your profile

Knowledge:

• MBO diploma: Technicus Elektrotechniek crebo 25276 with at least one subject-specific elective module Engineer infratechnieken K0677 or Service and maintenance of medium-voltage installations K0777 or Implementation of infratechnology K0700 (using the training material of BLEI or equivalent) or KIWA Training: Engineering Manager Underground Infratechnology outflow direction Energy Cables or BOB-KOB Engineering Manager Infra 1.
• NEN 3140
• At least two years of ret, demonstrable, work experience
• VCA VOL
• Safety regulations
