Job Title: Environmental Advisor (£ 40,000 per annum )

Department: Safety, Health and Environmental

Reports to: Safety, and Environmental Manager

Overall Role Purpose

The Environmental will support the site in ensuring compliance with environmental and energy legislation, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, and company sustainability goals. You will provide technical expertise, promote best practice in environmental and energy management, and drive continuous improvement in reducing environmental impact and energy use across the manufacturing plant.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Reporting and data management

• Prepare and submit environmental and energy performance reports for internal stakeholders, regulators, and corporate sustainability teams.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for environment and energy.
• Manage environmental records, permits, and documentation.

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Qualification in environmental, sustainability, energy management or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards.

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Good understanding of environmental and energy legislation/regulatory requirements.

Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all times.
