For the position of Assembly technician you are physically fit. You are reliable and a hard worker. You have a clear affinity for technology. You enjoy hands-on work. You like a physical challenge. Accuracy is key for you. You work well independently. You are also a strong team player who takes initiative.

• Experience or affinity with mounting or assembly.
• Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical principles.
• Ability to work accurately following instructions.
• Not afraid to climb on large machines (MR magnets).
• Can read and interpret technical drawings and regulations (Dutch and English).

This department focuses on subcomponent assembly. As an assembly Technician you will cable all components inside and on the magnet. Work instructions must be followed accurately. The magnet is also fitted with a housing (casing). Then the final product goes to storage. Work is done all around and on top of the magnet. Changing your posture often is important. Two or three employees work together simultaneously to finish the product.

Philips Healthcare in Best develops and sells medical equipment. This includes MRI machines, IGT systems, DXR machines, and Grids. Their main customers are hospitals and medical specialists. You will join a small, informal team. The team consists of technicians, troubleshooters, spinners, and testers. The atmosphere in the team in which you will be working as an assembly technician is social and collegial.
