We're looking for you to join us as our next Chef de Partie at one of our vibrant hotels in the Amsterdam area:

• Corendon Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

• Corendon Amsterdam Nieuw-West

• The College Hotel

• Contributing to the (pre)preparation of dishes for room service, The Bazaar, breakfast, and staff meals;

• Providing excellent service and maintaining a strong focus on personal and kitchen presentation, especially due to the open kitchen concept;

• Fostering a good working relationship with colleagues within the department and across other departments by following the OER principle (Open, Honest & Respectful);

• Respecting and complying with the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy ;

• Coordinating and organizing activities at the bar;

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef, especially when such tasks help seize business opportunities in line with the nature of the operation.

Job requirements

• You have a passion for cooking, solid all-round knowledge of various dishes, and you can't wait to showcase your talents in the kitchen;

• You are service-oriented, hospitable, and socially engaged;

• You work well independently as well as in a team;

• You can identify problems, recognize important information, and make connections. You track down possible causes and come up with concrete solutions.
