International Senior Communications Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Tactical Communications

• Develop and execute communication plans aligned with mission, values and business goals.
• Provide communication counsel to stakeholders, shaping message development and audience alignment.
• Translate communication strategies into clear guidelines, tools and actionable plans.
• Roll out global programs across international markets and create communications that can be adapted for multiple regions.

Internal Communications (International / EMEA Focus)

• Support internal communications that inform, inspire and strengthen connection across teams.
• Manage and optimize internal communication channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, screens)
• Support planning and execution of employee meetings and internal events

External Communications

• Contribute to corporate reputation through external storytelling, social media and employer branding content.
• Manage external sponsorship and corporate responsibility communication and governance.
• Respond to external requests related to sponsorship, site visits, corporate information and general inquiries.
• Back-up in case of crisis communication

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Create high‑quality written and visual communication materials: articles, speeches, presentations, videos, graphics and more.
• Ensure brand consistency across all materials and safeguard correct application of corporate identity.
• Maintain updated templates, guidelines and visual assets.

Agency & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with external agencies, designers and content vendors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Independently engage with leaders across multiple countries and functions.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

• Use analytics to track communication effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance channel performance and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in communications, preferably in a corporate and/or international environment.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills in English; Dutch and additional languages are a plus.
• Proven ability to connect communication strategies to business outcomes.
• Strong business acumen
