Vacancy: Startup Visa Programme Coordinator (mid-level/senior)

Start date: Available immediately.

Number of hours per week: 0.6-0.8 FTE.

Work location: Rotterdam & Amsterdam city centre.

Salary range: 3,500-4,000 gross based on 40 hours per week.

Your role

As Coordinator of the Startup Visa Programme, you will be the first point of contact for our international founders and the right hand of the Programme Lead. You will ensure a smooth process. Your tasks will include assessing pitch decks, coordinating events, taking care of the administration and building the community. Thanks to your background and experience, you will be able to move easily between strategy and operations.

This is what you will be doing

Selection & guidance of Visa Dockers.

Together with your colleague, the Programme Lead, you will analyse pitch decks. This is where your economic knowledge and experience with the start-up landscape in the Netherlands will come in handy. You will ensure proper filtering and take care of communication and organisational follow-up with suitable candidates.

When mentoring founders, you will focus on the following recurring themes: discussing milestones, providing critical feedback and connecting with other inspirers. Finally, you will provide support for mentoring projects.

Programme & community coordination.

In this role, in addition to providing substantive and social guidance, you will also be responsible for the structure of the programme. You will take care of the planning and organisation of Weekly's and Monthly's, discuss upcoming pitches and presentations with founders, and serve as the digital point of contact.

Growth.

We have serious growth ambitions for the SVP programme. Together, we are not only working towards a good programme now, but also towards a fruitful future. You identify opportunities and implement optimisations in the area of systems and processes. Together with our Head of Compliance, you work on the implementation and assurance of the correct KYC processes. In order to grow, you understand the importance of tight administration.

About you.

We are also looking for someone who gets energy from structure and from people. You enjoy guiding founders and feel at home in an international start-up environment.

• You are a self-starter who takes responsibility.
• You can read, understand and evaluate pitch decks.
• You are familiar with the start-up ecosystem or want to learn more about it.
• You can coordinate programme operations smoothly.
• You have experience with mentoring or coaching.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You have several years of work experience combining execution with strategic thinking.
• You have the ambition to potentially grow into a Programme Lead within 5 years (preferred).
