About StartDock

We build warm communities where entrepreneurs inspire each other and grow. Our Dockers are start-ups, scale-ups and independent entrepreneurs who are part of our locations in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. As Finance & Back Office Support, you ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes - so that they can move forward.

Your role in brief

In this position, you will be the administrative anchor point for colleagues and Dockers. You will keep our financial administration in order and ensure that back office processes run smoothly. You will work closely with the operations and finance team and will have plenty of scope to make processes smarter.

What will you be doing?

Financial administration

• Processing purchase invoices in Moss.
• Creditor management and preparing payment batches.
• Debtor management: sending sales invoices + following up on overdue payments.
• Processing bank transactions.
• Assisting with preparatory work for the month-end closing.

Back office & operations

• Point of contact for colleagues with administrative questions.
• Managing the admin mailbox for Dockers.
• Archiving contracts, documents and other administrative records.
• Carrying out administrative onboarding and offboarding of customers.

Who are you?

You enjoy accurate administration, logical processes and colleagues who can work smoothly thanks to you. You are sociable, accurate and like to keep an overview. Does this sound like you? Then you are a great fit for us.

What do you bring to the table?

• HBO working and thinking level (MBO with ±2 years of experience and accounting training welcome).
• An affinity with financial administration.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Experience with Exact Online is an advantage (we are switching over on 1 January 2026).
• Enthusiasm to learn, improve and take responsibility.
• You enjoy working at multiple locations.

• Salary: €3,221 - €3,626 gross (full-time, depending on experience).
• Hours: 24-32 hours per week, spread over 5 days.
• Locations: Amsterdam & Rotterdam, including StartDock door-to-door public transport.
• Extras: daily lunch, 25 days' holiday (full-time), pension.
