• Editor & Copywriter at the RSM
• Rotterdam, campus Erasmus University

We are seeking a seasoned Editor & Copywriter (minimum 5 years experience) who commands English at C1/C2 level for all communication, ideally with strong written Dutch skills as well. You are a flexible, proactive expert who balances strong copywriting for varied marketing materials (digital and print) with meticulous editing skills, proven by a mandatory portfolio. Your affinity for teamwork, digital fluency (SEO/UX), and ability to consistently meet deadlines will be crucial in amplifying RSM’s global impact.

• C1 or C2 level English speaker with an excellent standard of written English. Preferable, but not necessary – a native Dutch speaker with an excellent standard of written Dutch
• Strong copyediting and proofreading skills with a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience writing various types of communication including press releases, news and feature articles, advertisements, commercial brochures and other marketing materials.
• Ability to draft effective social media posts and website text (with SEO, UX and SEA principles). Comfortable working with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in business school or higher educational environment is a plus.
• Portfolio as proof of previous editing work is mandatory.
• Affinity working in a team.
• Flexible, hands-on and proactive attitude required. Able to multi-task and work on ad-hoc requests, used to working with deadlines, experience with project-based work.

See below list of tasks:

• Provide copy writing, editing and proofreading services to RSM academic and programme departments, with appropriate writing styles per audience.
• Make sure standards for all of RSM’s communications are high (branding, correctness, tone, styles).
• Write news reports and features on RSM-related events and initiatives.
• Provide and review web, social and other digital media copy.

This position works within the Corporate Communications Team at RSM and works closely with the other members of the RSM Corporate Marketing and Communications team to help develop integrated marketing communications in partnership with the various RSM departments and programmes to promote RSM’s faculty research, global student recruitment, events and other impact and engagement-related initiatives.
