Purpose

• As Senior Operations Advisor, you provide support and expert guidance to Operation Managers on operational procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing resources to achieve organizational objectives. You collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth and safe operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• You supervise and manage day-to-day shorebase operations, ensuring all activities are performed safely and efficiently.
• You develop and implement operational procedures and best practices in alignment with company policies and industry standards.
• You provide planning of execution of business strategies to improve operations
• You track, analyze, and provide advice on the company's operational issues.
• You guide on lessons learnt and best practices.
• You seek for cost-driven improvements
• You promote safety awareness and broad application of the Management system.
• You provide guidance on change-management procedures.
• You participate in Safety studies/HAZID/HAZOP reviews to provide operational input.
• You assist on reporting and investigation of incidents.
• You assist on orientation for compliance with class, flag and port state requirements.
• You monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
• You analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• You lead and manage special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and safety and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior advisory or supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of shorebase operations, including logistics, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Proven track record of leading and implementing operational improvements and safety initiatives.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
