Commercial Manager (MT Member)

As Commercial Manager, you'll be ultimately responsible for the commercial results and provide daily leadership to our dedicated purchasing and sales team (both inside and outside) in Etten-Leur. You'll report directly to the director and be a member of the management team.

What are you going to do?

Your role is multifaceted: you are both a strategist and a manager.

Strategy & vision: You create the annual commercial plan and develop a medium-term vision. You identify market opportunities and translate them into action.

Leadership You motivate, inspire, and coach your team to achieve sales and margin targets. You set targets and ensure optimal workload distribution and team spirit.

Relationship Management & Sales You maintain contact with our customers, manage your own customer base and focus on revenue growth.

Product management You will be responsible for the purchase and sale of specialized wood species in (industrial) markets. Added value is created through in-house machining of wood and wood products.

Who are you?

• You're a commercially oriented and confident individual. You know how to translate goals into concrete action plans for your team.
• You are interested in specialist wood types and sales markets.
• You have knowledge of the machining of wood and wood products.
• You have a higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level with demonstrable management and commercial experience.
• You have strong analytical skills: you monitor results and make adjustments where necessary.

  You have experience in the wood and building materials industry.
