Your role

As a lecturer in Business Administration, you will teach in English in subjects such as business operations, leadership skills, marketing, economics, entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability. You are not only a transmitter of knowledge, but also a coach, sparring partner, and role model for our students. You will guide them in transitioning to a Western, student-centered way of learning (the Rhineland model) and encourage an entrepreneurial mindset.

In addition, you will work with colleagues on curriculum development and provide feedback on assessment development (carried out by our Education Office). You will embrace our vision on AI: AI is not a hype or a side issue, but a lasting and integral part of education and business. We expect students, lecturers, and staff to actively and consciously use AI. As a lecturer, you are skilled in applying AI in your profession, your field of expertise, and your teaching.

• Teach in English in business operations, leadership, marketing, economics, and core business administration courses.
• Support international students in their academic and personal development.
• Address cultural differences and help students adjust to a Western educational system.
• Connect theory to current practice and your own professional experience.
• Contribute to curriculum development and provide feedback on assessment development.
• Innovate in teaching using blended learning, digital learning environments, and AI tools.
• Collaborate in an entrepreneurial, short-cycle team: no meeting culture, but doing and improving.
• Use your professional network to enrich the program with practical examples and connections to the business world.

About Business School Notenboom

Business School Notenboom is currently exploring the development of an international English-taught bachelor program in Business Administration. While the exact start date of this program has not yet been determined, we are already preparing for it. That is why we are looking for lecturers who are interested in joining our team in the near future and helping us build this next step.

We are an entrepreneurial business school: small-scale, agile, and practice-oriented. Our mission is to educate the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. What you bring

• A completed bachelor's degree in a domain related to Business Administration; preferably supplemented with a master's degree, or demonstrably able to operate at master's level.
• Excellent command of the English language (minimum C1 level); being a native speaker is not required.
• Knowledge of and experience with business operations, leadership, marketing, and economics.
• Didactic skills: the ability to explain complex topics in different ways.
• Cultural sensitivity and experience with students from different educational backgrounds.
• Recent and relevant professional experience, ensuring your teaching is always connected to practice.
• Experience with blended learning and digital learning environments.
• Affinity with assessment and evaluation, preferably in an international context.
• A coaching and entrepreneurial attitude, with a focus on students' personal growth.
• Skills in applying AI in your field and willingness to teach students how to use it effectively.
• Team spirit and energy: you enjoy taking initiative and working with colleagues to continuously improve education.
