As an Embedded Software Integration Test Engineer at Yacht Engineering, you operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and mechanics. You are the gatekeeper of quality before systems hit the road. In this pivotal role, you work within the Embedded Engineering department, the competence center for powertrain and vehicle domain systems. You do not just run tests; you design the verification logic that guarantees safety and performance.

You verify compliance with functional requirements and ensure correct intercommunication between system elements. Using a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) system, you simulate vehicle functionality, covering network stability, diagnostics, and startup/shutdown behaviour. You manage test cases in HP Quality Center and prioritize them based on risk assessments and stakeholder input.

Working in a multidisciplinary environment in Eindhoven, you collaborate daily with verification engineers and developers to deliver flawless technology. This is your chance to work on high-tech projects that define the future of heavy-duty transport.

You are a technically skilled professional who understands the complexity of automotive systems. You combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on testing experience. To make an impact in this role, you bring:

• A Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanics, Automotive, Electronics, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in embedded software integration testing within the automotive industry.
• Solid knowledge of embedded software design processes (V-cycle) and test techniques (ISTQB certification is a strong asset).
• Hands-on experience with Vector tooling (CANoe/CANalyzer) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and knowledge of model-based design techniques.
• Excellent command of both the English and Dutch language to communicate effectively in an international environment.
