Innovation Portfolio & Project Manager

As Innovation Portfolio & Project Manager, you support the delivery of the innovation portfolio by ensuring strategic alignment, financial target compliance, and high-quality execution of projects. You enable effective portfolio decision-making, safeguard project and portfolio governance, and support Marketing Directors and the Innovation Board in defining and delivering a coherent innovation roadmap.

What we ask

• Academic degree (Master's level) in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience in project and portfolio management within complex organizations.
• Proven experience with innovation portfolios, stage-gate processes, and project governance.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in portfolio analysis, business cases, and benefits tracking.
• Hands-on experience with PPM tools and portfolio management systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at tactical and strategic levels.
• Ability to challenge, coach, and support project managers.
• Structured, proactive, and quality-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

You facilitate and influence segment portfolio owners in making portfolio choices to create a coherent innovation pipeline and enable effective resource allocation. You promote and safeguard the FrieslandCampina project and portfolio management way of working, including the project funnel and stage-gate process.
