The opportunity

Our Expedition team is growing! As a new colleague, you will help us improve the department and take it to the next level. Through contact with both clients and subcontractors, you expand our network on both sides of the supply chain. You are the point of contact for our customers and representative of Lubbers. So, you play a vital role in the impression that Lubbers makes as a company.

For new requests, you calculate transport rates for our (potential) customers, aiming to be as competitive as possible. You schedule the order, stay informed about the progress of ongoing freight movements, offer support where needed and proactively keep your customers updated.

What do we ask from you?

You enjoy working in a team and easily adapt to a dynamic work environment. Communicating with customers and colleagues comes naturally to you, and you remain calm and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations. Proactively you look for opportunities to combine loads, prevent empty kilometers and prevent problems before they arise.

Experience in logistics is preferred, and familiarity with transport planning and forwarding is a strong advantage.

Since you work with companies across Europe daily, it is beneficial if you have a good command of Dutch, English, and German-both spoken and written.

In an environment where multiple assignments are handled simultaneously, it's essential that you work accurately and maintain a clear overview, enabling you to quickly locate the necessary information. Above all, you are eager to learn, confident in making decisions, and bring a positive attitude to your work.
