As an Air Export Operations Agent, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire export process. You ensure smooth operational execution and act as the central link between airlines, transport companies, handlers, and the customs department. At the Schiphol-Oost location, the team is based in-house with a major airline client, ensuring smooth coordination of all export and import shipments. Description

As an Air Export Operations Agent, you are the first point of contact for customers, airlines, and handling agents. You work accurately, proactively, and professionally to ensure that all documentation is completed correctly and all data is processed properly. Together with 15 colleagues in the Air Import and Export team, you manage the entire Engineering & Maintenance flow for KLM to and from Amsterdam.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and setting up export shipments in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Following up on customer requests and resolving potential challenges
• Preparing and processing transport documentation accurately and on time
• Maintaining close communication with airlines, domestic carriers, and internal departments both locally and globally

Profile

• A completed MBO degree, preferably in Aviation, Logistics & Economics, or a commercial direction. If you have a different background but relevant experience, you are also welcome to apply
• At least one year of experience coordinating transport or handling (airfreight) documentation
• Experience in airfreight is an advantage but not required
• Professional command of English (working language); Dutch is a plus
• Experience with MS Office and working accurately in various IT systems
• Experience with Cargowise is an advantage
• You must be able to provide a valid VGB (Declaration of No Objection); costs for this will be covered

Job Offer

• A monthly salary between €2,700 and €3,500, depending on experience
• 8 % holiday allowance
