Game Designer

We're looking for a game designer with 3+ years of experience. Someone who loves creating meaningful, behavior-driven digital experiences. You know how to turn abstract goals into clear game concepts, mechanics, and systems, and enjoy working hands-on with a multidisciplinary team from first idea to final delivery.

What we're looking for

• You're creative and conceptually strong, with a sharp eye for gameplay and what motivates players.

• You can translate learning goals or change objectives into meaningful game mechanics and compelling player journeys.

• You have a background in game design, industrial design, interaction design, or experience design.

• You have a strong technical mindset and experience with the full development process. From idea generation and concepting to development, testing, and launch.

• You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team alongside developers, UX/UI-designers, visual designers, and producers.

• You're a true team player with strong communication skills, able to present your ideas clearly to both colleagues and clients.

Who are you?

• You bring 2+ years of relevant experience.

• You work and think at HBO (applied) or university (WO) level.

• You're interested in behavior change and understand the principles of behavioral change and learning through play.

• You're comfortable with digital design tools and have a technical mindset: you like to build and explore.

• You speak and write both Dutch and English at a good professional level.
