Description of assignment

Are you the IT intern who loves making a difference every day? As an IT intern at our ICT Service Centre, you will be the first point of contact for colleagues around the world. From hardware to Windows, from applications to automation-you know how to solve it. Step into a challenging, dynamic environment , where no day is the same!

Department description

The IT department consists of 5 teams responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, executing IT projects, developing tools for engineering, managing and expanding the ERP systems, and providing process support for multidisciplinary projects with workflow tools.

The IT Service Centre is the first point of contact for end users of the IT infrastructure, providing support for approximately 10,000 workstations across various locations worldwide. It is a skilled IT Service Centre, responsible for first- and second-line incidents on the workstations. You receive the incidents, ask the right questions, and resolve them. More complex incidents are also handled here, or they are escalated to a specialist or resolution group if they cannot be resolved. You work in a team of 10 IT professionals (including interns/working students)

Tasks/responsibilities

• You work within the IT department, supporting both national and international colleagues during regular office hours.

• You analyze and resolve requests and incidents. If you are unable to solve a ticket immediately , you ensure the further coordination with other departments and make sure the issue is resolved as quickly as possible.

• You support a wide range of applications and office automation.

Your profile

• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows 11, and Active Directory.

• Experience with TOPdesk is a p lus.

• You are social, customer-oriented, and have strong communication skills, both in Dutch and English.

• You understand the importance of automation in a growing organization and contribute to improving the department every day.

• *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
