The Global Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the Chief Operational Officers.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Global Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:

• Accountable for the Customer Operations department, overseeing the lifecycle of the products, shipping documentation and insurance claims;
• Driving continuous improvement in all activities, ensuring operational excellence;
• Streamlining the production process by optimizing the Sales & Operations Planning and forecasting and therefore working closely with the Regional Managers, the Commercial Managers and the two Chief Operating Officers;
• Geographic fine-tuning of inbound and outbound logistics (including inventory management);
• An efficient and smooth labelling and packaging process;
• Initiating and implementing process improvements and new logistic concepts;
• Improving logistic service in terms of people, quality, costs, communication and automation in a constantly evolving environment;
• Continuous focus on cost;
• Pro-actively identifying (recurring) problems, formulating and initiating solutions and improvement proposals;
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management, internal stakeholders and external partners.

General information

The Global Supply Chain Manager contributes to and supports the development of Orffa globally with efficient, creative and innovative logistic processes and is accountable for the optimization and constant improvement of customer service, logistic administration and toll production/contract manufacturing. Therefore, the Global Supply Chain Manager needs to maintain a close interaction with all internal stakeholders. Leading the Logistics Team of in total 10-12 FTE.

The person

Education

Bachelor's degree in e.g. Business Administration, Operations and/or Supply Chain/Logistic Management.

Knowledge and Experience

At least 5-7 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager/Logistic Manager within the international Food, Feed, Chemical and/or FMCG industry. You are an experienced leader/people manager with international (shipping) experience and logistic processes. and You are fluent in English (orally and written).
