Will you ensure top quality of our plants?

At Genson Quality Plants everything is about quality - from the first growth stage to delivery. For our Helmond location, we are looking for a Lab & Quality Assistant to help monitor and improve the quality of our young strawberry and raspberry plants. You will work in our laboratory and support the QA team with analyses, checks and process improvement.

Your role

In this versatile position, you will combine laboratory work with quality assurance. You are involved in tissue culture, analysis and quality control, and ensure that all results are accurately recorded. You work independently and as part of a team to improve our processes, where precision and reliability are key.

What will you do?

- Perform laboratory work, including tissue culture and quality analyses.

- Checking, recording and reporting results in Excel, among others.

- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment.

- Signal deviations and contribute to process improvements.

- Collaborate with colleagues within Lab and QA to achieve quality goals.

- Contributing to a safe, neat and efficient work environment.

What do you bring?

✔ Minimum of MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably towards biotechnology, plant science or similar.

✔ 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory position.

✔ Accurate and structured work attitude.

✔ Basic knowledge of plant cultivation and laboratory procedures; knowledge of tissue culture is a plus.

✔ Experience with chemicals, laboratory equipment and data recording in Excel.

✔ Good command of the English language.

✔ Driver's license B and own transportation.

✔ Willingness to work extra hours during peak periods (especially May-August and November-December), possibly also on Saturdays.

- An employment contract for 1 year with the prospect of permanent employment.

- A competitive salary between € 2,728.32 and € 3,497.40 gross per month (based on 40 hours).
