Your role

Fastned is supercharging the future of electric mobility in the Netherlands and we want you to help lead this change. As our Construction Lead Netherlands, you'll be at the forefront of building a cleaner, faster world, steering our local Construction Management team to deliver cutting-edge fast charging stations across the country. You'll work hand-in-hand with talented leaders, from the Director of Construction Management to the Country Director, Lead Architect, and Expansion Lead, turning bold ideas into reality and paving the way for sustainable transport.

Your responsibilities include the following:

• Manage the local Construction team, including day-to-day responsibilities, performance reviews and coaching, as well as recruiting new members into the team. You know what it takes to develop your team members, improving the quality of their work and their personal growth while setting direction.

• Create an engaging, fun, and performance-driven team culture for your team.

• Coordinate with the Country Director, Lead Architect and the Expansion Lead to ensure that all project timelines are met and within budget.

• Collaborate with other Construction Leads and the Director of Construction Management to ensure consistent practices across all countries.

• Develop strategies for national suppliers, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders (highway authorities, grid operators, etc.).

• Regularly report on project status and continuously reduce bottlenecks in line with a long term vision and by anticipating future challenges.

Electric mobility is new territory for you? No problem! As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure.
