Are you an experienced turner, miller or all-round machinist looking for a workplace where your craftsmanship really comes into its own? Where you work on unique parts that become part of complete machines that you see come to life in our workshop? Then this is your chance.

YOUR ROLE AT

At we build customer-oriented machines completely in-house - from design to assembly. Our machining department is an indispensable link in this process. Here we process raw materials into high-quality parts. We do this for our own machines, but also for external clients. Parts that sometimes have to be overhauled urgently are also dealt with within the department.

Machining

As a machinist at Van Wees you will work with both conventional and CNC-controlled machines. You will read drawings, determine the correct order of machining, write or adapt programs and machine the workpiece with precision. You are responsible for the setup, machining and control - from A to Z. And all this in an environment where your contribution is directly visible in the final product.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO, AMONG OTHER THINGS:

• Reading drawings and analyzing proper machining sequence
• Writing and modifying machining programs for CNC controlled machines
• Clamping the material and tools
• Machining workpieces according to supplied specifications
• This includes both single pieces and series work, depending on the projects
• Perform intermediate and final inspections based on the work drawing

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Preferably knowledge (MBO) and some experience within machining technology
• Able to program and set up machines independently
• Accuracy and precision
