Are you ready for a new challenge where you can alternate purchasing tasks in the office with logistical tasks in the warehouse? At Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven we have an immediate full-time position available as All-round employee Purchasing & Logistics. Part-time employment is also negotiable.

What can a working day bring you?

• Receiving and checking incoming goods

• Splitting, sorting and clearing the checked incoming goods

• Entering purchase orders into our ordering system

• Communicating to and from other departments and suppliers

• Managing and controlling (warehouse) stock

• Resolving stock errors and finding out the problem

• Tidying up and keeping the warehouse tidy

• Identifying bottlenecks in operational management and subsequently making proposals for optimisation

• Supervising the correct use, cleaning and storage of materials and resources

• Supervising safety and other procedures

Job requirements

What qualities and experience will make us happy?

• You have completed at least an intermediate vocational education, preferably in the field of purchasing or logistics

• You have a proactive attitude; you like to get down to business

• You are flexible and do not have a 9-5 mentality, so you are available on Saturdays and public holidays

• You are motivated and eager to learn

• Representative, hospitable and service-oriented

• You are stress resistant
