Controlling and Reporting Analyst

At our Head Office in Amersfoort (the Netherlands), we are looking for a high potential Planning & Reporting Analyst, with a keen interest in data analytics, simplifying financial models, introducing automation where possible and most importantly, running an efficient reporting process. You will work within the Business Group Professional (FCP) and report into the head of FP&A for FCP.

In this role you are responsible for coordinating, planning and executing the reporting and forecast process for FCP. You will maintenance and development various reports and financial models across various forecasting and reporting tools. You will be responsible for loading of data to HFM, support on measuring and reporting financial and operational KPI's and support on maintaining the core set of commercial data feeding financial forecasts. You will participate in month end close and forecast reviews with management every month, where you should contribute to the discussion and understanding of the numbers. You will be part of an truly international team and work in an international business environment.

You will work in close alignment with stakeholders at the Business Group level, in the operating companies, corporate departments, financial shared service centers and the group corporate reporting team. The role provides exposure to local and business group Finance teams and Finance Directors, and is ideal to gain knowledge on global financial processes and international trade within FrieslandCampina, as well as different business cultures.

Your main accountabilities and responsibilities include:

• You serve as a key strategic partner to the Head of FP&A, providing support across all planning and reporting activities for the Business Group.
• Drive clarity and simplification of financial processes, reporting and financial models within the BG.
• Assist with the Month-end close process FCP including review and analyses of OpCo financial performance (Commercial file) and the loading financial results to HFM.
• Analysing and reporting of commercial and financial KPIs: Volumes, sales - and gross profit variance analysis, working capital monitoring and forecasting.
• Provide and support the Management Team of FCP by ensuring availability and transparency of financial forecast and actual information.
• Assist with and Perform ICF control and control effectiveness within the Business Group.
• Participation, implementation and execution of (ad hoc) projects
