Posistion: Road Freight Forwarder

(Fulltime - 40 hours)

Are you looking for a dynamic, hands-on logistics role where no two days are the same? As a Road Freight Forwarder at Cargo Company, you are the central point between our customers, carriers, and internal teams. You ensure that all shipments are executed efficiently, on time, and according to plan.

You will join a small, dedicated team of around 10 colleagues where teamwork, open communication, and initiative are highly valued. We are looking for someone who enjoys organizing, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international road transports.
• Maintain daily communication with customers, carriers, and colleagues.
• Handle the administrative processing of transport orders accurately and on time.
• Monitor shipment progress and act immediately in case of delays or issues.
• · Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• ·Work in day shifts from 08:00 to 17:00 / 17:30.

Requirements

• MBO-level education (secondary vocational), preferably in logistics or transport.
• Enthusiastic about shortsea and intermodal transport, enjoying the challenge of managing shipments across different modes.
• Knowledge of transport and customs documentation is a plus.
• Proactive, stress-resistant, and strong communicator.
• Good command of Dutch or English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Positive attitude and takes responsibility.
• No experience? No problem! We provide full training.
