Senior Quality Lab Analyst microbiology

We are looking for a quality analyst microbiology who gets satisfaction from accurately performing analyses and coordinating sample flows. If you are someone who enjoys working with bacteria and thinking about how processes in the lab can be improved, we would like to invite you to apply.

Your role

In a growing team of analysts and technicians, you analyse the quality of our probiotic bacteria and formulations, both at raw material and finished product level. You collaborate with external laboratories in this process. You report results and ensure that the supply chain remains efficient so that products are delivered to our customers on time. Your duties include:

• performing quality checks, including various microbiological analyses;
• coordinating sample flows;
• reporting quality data in the LIMS system;
• processing the generated data and reporting to the requestors or team lead;
• collaborating with the supply chain to meet lead times.

We moved into a new state-of-the-art laboratory with a micro and molecular lab, BSL2 lab, cellculture lab and a fermentation plant in January 2024. In addition, Winclove has an education lab where schoolchildren, students and business partners can learn more about probiotics from the analysts at the Winclove lab.

What do we ask of you?

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic, fun-loving person who meets the following requirements:

• you have completed a relevant mbo/hbo education;
• you have knowledge of and experience with microbiological techniques and sample management;
• you are eager to learn and show initiative;
• you can work independently and have a collegial attitude;
• you have a good command of the Dutch language.
