We are looking for a PLC programmer

Are you a driven PLC Programmer with a passion for technology and innovation? Do you enjoy working on improving existing systems as well as developing new solutions? Then we are looking for you!

Flikweert Vision is an innovative manufacturer of optical grading machines for the agricultural sector, with a focus on potatoes and onions. Our technology helps growers and processors worldwide to sort more efficiently for quality, colour and defects. We combine high-tech vision with robust industrial design.

What will you do?

As PLC Programmer, you play a key role in optimising, maintaining and further developing the PLC software on our machines. Together with colleagues from various disciplines, you work on improving the performance of existing installations and contribute to innovative R&D projects. You are involved from concept to commissioning and ensure that our machines are ready for the future.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and optimisation of existing PLC programmes (Codesys / TwinCAT)
• Implementing functional improvements in collaboration with colleagues
• Participating in R&D projects, including prototype development
• Commissioning of new or modified machines
• Maintaining technical documentation

What do you bring?

• Experience with PLC programming in Codesys and/or TwinCAT
• HBO working and thinking level
• Basic knowledge of Python or C++ is a plus
• Affinity with mechanical engineering and a practical attitude
• You work independently and interact easily with colleagues
• An electrical engineering background is a plus
