  Your job as Aerospace Project Manager

As Aerospace Project Manager at Technolution, the buck stops with you in challenging development projects in a sector that literally pushes boundaries. You ensure that the client's wishes are transformed into realistic, technically viable contracts - and that your teams successfully realize the deliverables. The focus in all this is on developing reliable electronics, embedded software, and programmable logic.

You lead multiple complex projects, often in collaboration with organizations that build satellites or develop instruments for aerospace applications. You understand how they work and speak their language. As a result, you are able to prioritize quality, budget, risks, and planning. You make sure there is proper oversight, you monitor progress, and ensure you team performs optimally.

Within Technolution, you are someone who brings people together. You select project teams that combine technical expertise, teamwork, and ownership. You encourage colleagues to grow in their role, share insights, and implement improvements to how we do projects. In addition, you work proactively to build sustainable relationships with our clients, and contribute to strategic reflection on new opportunities in the aerospace market.

Typically you

You have:

• Completed an academic or HBO (higher professional) degree in technology

• Several years' experience as a project manager in high tech or aerospace

• Demonstrable experience with multidisciplinary development projects

• Knowledge of and affinity with embedded systems, electronics, or software development

You are:

• Analytical and results-oriented

• A coach who helps colleagues grow

You know how to lead projects with vision and oversight. You are structured, but flexible. You understand the context of the aerospace sector, from its technical requirements to its strict documentation procedures.
