We are looking for a Ukrainian speaking psychologists within our preventive mental health and individual consultations program (SvitloProject). Are you a Ukrainian-speaking psychologist with experience working with adults? Do you believe in the power of preventive mental health care? Then we would love to hear from you!

Our team provides preventive psychological support for adults who experience psychosocial stress related to displacement, instability, trauma, and major life changes. Our goal is to offer early, accessible, and supportive care that strengthens emotional well-being and resilience.

What will you do?

• Provide individual (one-on-one) preventive psychological consultations for adults.
• Support clients dealing with stress, anxiety, emotional overload, burnout, loss, and life transitions.
• Offer psychoeducation and emotional support.
• Help clients build coping strategies, self-regulation skills, and inner resources.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and improve the project.
• Share professional insights and feedback.

What are we looking for?

• An Ukrainian-speaking psychologist with experience working with adults.
• Background in preventive mental health, trauma-informed care, working with emotional awareness or crisis support is a strong plus.
• High level of empathy, responsibility, and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• A flexible, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset.
• English is a plus (Dutch is an advantage).
• Availability to work in the Randstad area, including evenings or weekends (if relevant).

This position is based on 8-16 hours. It is classified in scale 6 of the Collective Labor Agreement for Social Work. Your starting step depends on experience, education, and age. It also offers excellent secondary employment benefits, including holiday allowance and a 13th-month salary. The initial term of this position runs until July 2026. Possible extensions are negotiable.

The Mano Foundation supports vulnerable groups in society, enabling them to develop and participate optimally. We are always responsive to current events and respond to the needs of the city and society. This keeps the foundation constantly evolving.

We support refugees, families in poverty, people with low literacy, children, young people, and many others in Rotterdam to transition from vulnerable to empowered. Our activities and courses include language and digital skills training, peer support programs, labor market participation, resilience, and empowerment.

The Mano Foundation consists of a professional staff of over fifty people and over four hundred volunteers. We collaborate closely with dozens of specialist professionals and partner organizations in Rotterdam.
