We are looking for young film critics!
Cinekid is looking for English-speaking children between 4 - 14 years to join 'Ask Your Audience' in smaller focus groups.
We are looking for young film critics!During Cinekid for Professionals this October, international filmmakers get the opportunity to present their new projects to the most important audience: kids themselves. 'Ask Your Audience' is a unique opportunity for children who love storytelling and movies, to have a real impact on the films and shows they will be watching in the future.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for English-speaking children or school groups between the ages 4 to 14. They will be joining smaller focus groups, depending on their age. After a quick presentation by selected filmmakers, kids will have the opportunity to ask questions about anything related to the project as well as share their opinions. A moderator will guide the sessions, to support a valuable exchange between the filmmakers and their young critics.
When and where will it happen?
Ask Your Audience will take place during Cinekid Festival at Pathé Amsterdam Noord on 21, 22 and 23 October . Children will join us for 1 - 2 hours, depending on their age. We will share a more detailed schedule closer to the event.
What can we offer?
To thank the children for their feedback, we can offer them the full Cinekid Festival experience; a complementary ticket for a festival screening and access to the MediaLab.
