Who We Are

We are Group : A specialist Group in international claims handling, risk management, recoveries, marine services and valuations. With a global footprint across 33 countries and 46 operating companies, we serve over 1,000 corporate clients in the insurance and risk sector.

Our headquarters is based in Rijswijk, where our Risk & Compliance, Internal Audit Department (RCIAD) and IT Risk & Security Team operate as the central guardian of the Group's strategic resilience and regulatory framework.

What You Will Do

As a Risk & Compliance Trainee, you will work closely with experienced professionals to support the development and implementation of risk management and compliance frameworks across the Group.

Your hands-on involvement will cover operational, IT, financial, and strategic risk domains, supporting the implementation of key controls, contributing to regional compliance monitoring, and helping maintain the Group's incident and risk registers.

What You Bring

• Final-year student or recent graduate of an HBO/ WO degree in a relevant field (such as Law, Risk Management, Governance, Business Administration, Finance)
• Foundational knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks, with an interest in regulatory topics such as GDPR, Anti-Money Laundering legislation, and the Anti-Terrorist Financing Act
• Motivation to develop and grow professionally in the fields of risk and compliance
• A strong sense of ethical judgment, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Problem solving mindset and attitude
• Good written and verbal communication skills (in both English and Dutch)
