To support our ambitious growth plans for the coming years, we are expanding our specialist team with a driven Rotating Equipment Technician who shares our passion for engineering and wants to contribute to the further growth and innovation of our company.

The role

No two days are the same. As a Rotating Equipment Technician, you play a crucial role in safeguarding the reliability and efficiency of industrial processes .

Your primary task is to keep our customers' production running smoothly by performing maintenance and repair work on their industrial fans.

Key responsibilities

• Maintenance & repair: perform routine maintenance on rotating equipment to keep it running efficiently: overhauls, repairs, balancing, lubrication, parts replacement and corrective work in the event of failures.
• Inspection: carry out thorough inspections to spot wear, damage or other issues.
• Diagnosis: identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and airflow/aerodynamic problems using appropriate measuring and test equipment.
• Preventive maintenance: develop and execute preventive maintenance programmes to extend asset life and minimise unplanned downtime.
• Contribute to improvement projects to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Record maintenance activities and keep documentation up to date.
• Work safely and follow all procedures.

What we expect from you

• A technical qualification at MBO level, preferably Mechanical Engineering (WTB) or Electrical Engineering (E), with interest or knowledge of rotating equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• You enjoy variety: assignments range from 1 day up to 3 weeks.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours when needed.
• Work experience is a plus, but graduates and career changers with passion for the trade are very welcome.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel.
• Strong communication skills and a service-minded approach.

• Immediate permanent contract (38 hours per week) because we trust you.
• Salary per CAO Metaal & Techniek: €3,100-€4,300 gross based on 38 hours, plus irregular-hours allowances where applicable.
• Prefer 4 days per week for your own good reasons? Let's talk, part-time (4 days) is negotiable.
• Plenty of time to recharge: 25 holidays plus 13 rostered days off (ADV) for full-time employees.
