What you are going to do

In our organisation all business units are responsible for ensuring the security of our IT environment. One of the key responsibilities of the Group Information Security team is to maintain and update the IT security standards, procedures and processes that apply to all business units within NN Group. Our ongoing challenge is to optimize these procedures and processes, automate as much as possible to increase quality and reduce the complexity for all stakeholders to maintain the required levels of compliancy.

Your responsibilities include:

• Contribute and maintain the overall vision on security & compliance together with other security officers and the security architect. Contribute towards creating an overview of how the security processes and procedures are related to each other in order to improve efficiency
• Active participation in determining the central vision and strategy for conducting security risk assessments and control automation, together with other security officers and the security architect. Advising the organisation on how to implement this strategy
• Driving, coordinating and reporting on central improvement initiatives for security processes and procedures across NN Group. Being able to convey your message to both management teams as well as DevOps teams
• Reviewing technical designs and security measures (e.g., secure protocols, encryption algorithms, IAM, firewalls, according NN security standards) for the designs of the technical environment: network, infrastructure (both cloud and on-premise data centres), applications, SaaS, external connections, etc
• Contribute on topics such as AI, Threat Modelling, Control Automation, et cetera. The Group Information Security team handles all topics security related within NN so there is room for you to shape your own responsibilities together with the team
• Maintaining your stakeholder landscape by keeping them informed about innovations and getting to know their demands and needs within your field of expertise
• As the matter experts and Security Conscience for NN Group you enjoy sharing the awareness for security topics throughout the organization. Security starts with your kind of mindset

• You have hands-on experience with security and risk processes and procedures, so that you understand what impact changes to these processes and procedures can have on the organization
• You are strong on content, but understand organizational challenges and are able to move security forwards in a professional, pragmatic, and cooperative way of working

The Group information security team has been repositioned within NN Group in line with the security challenges we face today. You will be joining a growing team (currently 8 team members) and working with enthusiastic colleagues who are divers in background, age and a variety of skills, with intensive daily interaction, cooperation and supporting each other on difficult topics.
