At Merapar, we combine cutting-edge technology with a true passion for media. From our fast-growing team in the Netherlands, we work on innovative solutions in Cloud, Data, and Streaming. We're now building a brand-new team and are looking for two Service Operations Engineers (junior & medior level) with a hands-on mindset and a passion for technology.

To ensure everything continues to run smoothly, we need a dedicated point of contact who can support our customers when issues arise. That's where you come in.

You're not expected to have all the answers right away. In the beginning, you'll work closely with your team to investigate and resolve issues together.

What will you be doing?

• Working closely with customers and translate their needs into practical solutions.
• Maintain regular contact with customers in both Dutch and Englisch and help turn their challenges into effective solutions.
• From day one, you'll help design and set up support structures, incident procedures, and monitoring systems.
• Analyse and resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Contribute ideas to improve our support processes and cloud infrastructure.
• We'll train you to work with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, ECS, Prometheus, CloudWatch , and Grafana .

• You work in a hybrid setup, with an average of two days per week at our office in Veldhoven.
• You work fulltime (40 hours a week)
• You're part of a small, close-knit team - two colleagues based in the Netherlands and two internationally - working on a greenfield cloud platform.
• Every four weeks, you take part in a one-week 24/7 on-call rotation.
