Your position

We are looking for a manufacturing engineering team leader! This is an exciting challenge in which you will be involved in the further development of our Manufacturing Engineering department. From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld.

Your role

As a manufacturing engineering (MfE) team leader, you will be responsible for a team of manufacturing and tool engineers. The team consists of 6-7 FTEs. In the role of team leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organization and development of your team. Together with the key stakeholders, you determine the day-to-day priorities and acceptance criteria based on the manufacturing engineering roadmap. As a knowledge carrier, you also work on (multi)disciplinary projects to increase quality and output in the factory. You do all this in close collaboration with R&D and our manufacturing and assembly departments.

• In this role, you will determine the development of MfE competencies and standards within the department in consultation with department management;

• You will be responsible for managing your team's capacity and the development of your team members;

• You will help the team deliver added value in day-to-day production and implement new product introductions (NPI);

• You check whether the quality of delivery and/or the underlying working methods meet the desired standard;

• You initiate and lead (multi)disciplinary projects as part of the MfE roadmap;

• You support and coach your team members in projects in determining the project approach and escalations.

What we ask of you

• You have a technical college or university degree (e.g., in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field);
• >3 years of relevant work experience in a production environment;
• Experience as a team lead;
• You are decisive, analytical, strong in systematic working, solution- and goal-oriented, both independently and in a managerial role;
• Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English;
• You are able to effectively manage, motivate, and develop others;
• Experience with the following aspects is an advantage: project-based working according to project phasing, NPI, CTQs, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, CMII, and LEAN.
