About the role and team

G4S is seeking a highly motivated and organised Administration Officer to join our dynamic team supporting a critical gas and oil contract. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our security personnel across several sites, acting as a central hub for administrative, logistical, and HR tasks.

You will also:

• Streamlining Security Operations: Maintaining security protocols and compliance frameworks, ensuring our personnel have the necessary access and training to effectively safeguard client assets.
• Boosting Efficiency Through Systems Management: Onboarding new staff, managing access to critical security systems (EBI, MyPass, Smart Access), and coordinating training completion to guarantee a prepared and authorised workforce.
• Providing First-Rate HR & Payroll Support: Processing timesheets and leave requests, managing the annual leave roster, and contributing to a smooth payroll process for our security personnel.
• Ensuring Logistical Success: Booking and managing flights and accommodation for FIFO employees, adapting to roster changes, and procuring necessary equipment to support security operations.
• Building Strong Communication Channels: Providing administrative support to the Manager, handling inquiries and concerns from security personnel regarding client systems and processes.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in business administration
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with database management systems
• Strong multitasking skills whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience prioritising large workloads
